In the last years, the number of misleading news about immigrants in Romania arose. Due to the lack of studies and researches, social medias were disseminating wrong information about their number and about their process of integration, country of origin, etc. Therefore, the Romanian Center for Comparative Migration Studies, affiliated to Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, created the Immigrants Integration Index in Romania, a research tool aiming to measure the level of immigrants integration and other more general aspcts about their lives in order to be disseminated properly.
